Supported Canon Digital Cameras
IDsPlus supports a variety of web cams which include Twain or
AVI drivers. Additionally, the following Canon Power Shot digital Cameras are
supported.
It is recommended that you purchase the appropriate AC adapter for use
with the camera to conserve batteries. The cameras we have tested do not require
batteries when using an external power supply with the camera.
The Canon Power Shot allows having an optional add-on memory card to store
pictures when not tethered to a PC. A memory card is not required when using the
Canon Power Shot camera with the IDsPlus software. If one is used for capturing
images, the software interface allows viewing the thumbnails and download
selected images into IDsPlus.
